“Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin” – Anonymous
Step 1: Moisturizer
Before applying your make up, it is important to wash your face with facial foam. You also need to put a moisturizer after that. Since my skin is quite dry sometimes, I decided to my PIXI Glow Mist was the best way to go. I used to put my PIXI Glow Tonic firstly, I had always applied it with my hands both that glow mist and also toner. Let it dry and moist for about 30 sec.
Step 2: Foundation
I applied light matte foundation, Maybelline Fit Me Poreless. I had mostly applied it with my hand too. But we can use liquid foundation brush. Firstly, dab the product 4 spots on your face. Then, use the brush to blend it. On your forehead, brush back and forth. On your cheeks, brush down and away from the center of your face. Last, on your chin, also brush back and forth.
Step 3: Concealer
I’ve been using Fit Me! Maybelline Concealer shade Fair for some time because it is quite light under my eyes and it can be so blended. To apply it, dab 4 times under your eyes then blend it with your finger, the heat from your finger helps the blend of concealer looks really natural.
Step 4: Powder
I prefer to use Make Over luminous powder for this part since it can cover up my skin well and for a period of time, it doesn’t make my face looks oily. To apply it, brush it in circular motions to buffer it into the skin for a natural look with brush powder.
Step 5: Blush
I don’t really prefer to use bronze, so I skip this step and jump to the blush using blush brush. I’d likely opted for more peachy tones, but petal pink from Sephora is really pretty too for my skin tone. Smile and apply to the apples of your cheeks. I used to apply it near the concealer part. It is good for Korean looks.
Step 6: Eyes
For eye shadow, I’d say that I’m really in love with Nude Obsession Eye Shadow Pallet. The color it is so pretty and it blends so nice. Before putting it, don’t forget to apply primer. It was great to learn a simple eye makeup routine for everyday. Firstly, I start with a “nude” colored shadow and cover my entire lid. If you have a fluffy shadow brush. Then pick a brown-red color and use a denser shadow brush to dab, not sweep, the product at the bottom of your lid and work your way up to the crease. After that, drawing line with eyeliner. For simple make up routine, I recommended black color for eyeliner. As for mascara, wiggling the brush at the route of your lashes and sweeping up. For both mascara and eyeliner, I use Make Over product.
Step 7: Lipstick
Last but not least, lips! For everyday, I’d say a really pretty combination of brown-orange-nude will make you more cherish. Rollover- Reaction and Maybelline Matte Lipcream are my favorites. To apply it, just dab the lipstick on your bottom lip then rub your lips together for just a hunt of color. You can make gradation color of it, with red-darker one on your inner lips and the lighter one on the outer lips.
Finish! Don’t forget to smile. Smile is the best make up girl can wear, right?
